My child has Hirschsprung's Disease. My son was diagnosed with HSCR as a newborn, nine years ago.The first two years of our first borns life were spent in and out of the children's hospital Randwick. We had a good couple of years (or so we thought) and then October 2015 he became very ill and we are still on the road to recovery. Our experience has inspired me to help other children with Hirschsprung’s Disease and other bowel disorders. I wanted to be the support I never had. When it comes to bowel disease it almost a invisible disease and there really is nothing out there for us.
I supply toiletry bags at no charge and stoma bears to children's hospitals across Australia . These bags and bears have been a real game changer for all our bowel families. And just recently we have Hirschsprung MEDICAL ALERT cards. Our ultimate goal is to be able to provide our bears and bags to every children's hospital across Australia.

I have set up a non-profit organisation called Help for Hirschsprung Disease to help other families who’s children also suffer from HSCR / bowel disease. This website is an avenue to become informed, connect and share stories, hopefully making the experience for others dealing with HSCR a little easier. Please take the opportunity to connect with us through Social Media Pages and together we will grow this support group, hopefully providing much needed information and resources for others on the same journey. You can help today by making a small monetary donation, your support is much appreciated.
